A Big Moose CONGRATULATION to Aimee the 2016 Big Moose Dog Training Client of the Year!!!
Aimee & Zeus took their first Big Moose class, Basic Obedience in April of 2015 and enjoyed it so much they have taken five MORE classes!!
BMDT: Let’s hear a little more about you. Tell us more about your dog. Aimee: I have a Siberian Husky named Zeus, who just turned 3. BMDT; How many dogs have you owned in your life? Aimee: 3
BMDT: Do you travel with your dogs? Aimee: Camping!
BMDT: What were your goals when you started with Big Moose Dog Training? Aimee: Originally it was to teach him some simple/basic commands, now I would like to get to do some trick training as well as continue to help him manage his stress so I can take him out in public even more! BMDT: What is your favorite, or new, thing you learned from Big Moose Dog Training? Aimee: I have to choose? Recall tops this list, but for me to learn different training & management techniques….there are so many things we have learned!
BMDT: Where is your dogs’ favorite place to sleep? Aimee: outside, or MY bed
BMDT: Where did you get your dogs? Aimee: From a peer when he was 7 months old.
BMDT: If you could have one training “Do Over” what would it be? Aimee: I am constantly “starting over” on the name game.
BMDT: What is your dog’s favorite toy? Aimee: Squeaky Toys
BMDT: Do your dogs know any fun tricks? Aimee: Yes! Most recently Beg & to hold a toy with his front feet
BMDT: What do you do with your dogs for fun? Aimee: Running & trick training
BMDT: Do you dress Zeus up for the holidays? Aimee: Yes, he was Spiderman for Halloween BMDT: Do you buy him presents for the holidays? Aimee: No

A Big Moose CONGRATULATION to Craig & Kathy the 2015 Big Moose Dog Training Client of the Year!!!
Craig & Kathy took their first Big Moose class, Puppy Kindergarten in March of 2014 and enjoyed it so much they have taken five MORE classes!!
BMDT: Let’s hear a little more about you. Tell us more about your dog. Craig/Kathy: We have a Golden Doodle named Shadow, she just turned 2. BMDT; How many dogs have you owned in your life? Craig/Kathy: 10
BMDT: Do you travel with your dogs? Craig/Kathy: No
BMDT: What were your goals when you started with Big Moose Dog Training? Craig/Kathy: Originally it was to get our puppy to walk on a leash & socialize her so she was good with our grandchildren, now we would like to have her get her AKC Canine Good Citizen & hopefully be a Library Dog for the kids to read to BMDT: What is your favorite, or new, thing you learned from Big Moose Dog Training? Craig/Kathy: Our granddaughter really enjoyed working with Shadow in class and has taught her brother some of what she learned.
BMDT: Where is your dogs’ favorite place to sleep? Craig/Kathy: on the floor next to “mom’s” recliner
BMDT: Where did you get your dogs? Craig/Kathy: We got her from a local breeder
BMDT: If you could have one training “Do Over” what would it be? Craig/Kathy: Nothing–all of the training has been great.
BMDT: What is your dog’s favorite toy? Craig/Kathy: A ball
BMDT: Do your dogs know any fun tricks? Craig/Kathy: “Leave It” BMDT: What is the hardest thing (training-wise or in life) for your dog? Craig/Kathy: “Engaging” all 5 grandkids at once!
BMDT: What do you do with your dogs for fun? Craig/Kathy: Walks & playing ball
BMDT: Do you dress Shadow up for the holidays? Craig/Kathy: No BMDT: Do you buy her presents for the holidays? Craig/Kathy: Yes, but we don’t wrap them.
2014 Client Of The Year
A Big Moose CONGRATULATION to Brenda the 2014 Big Moose Dog Training Client of the Year!!!
Brenda took her first Big Moose class in September of 2013 and enjoyed it so much she has taken five MORE classes!!
BMDT: Let’s hear a little more about you. Tell us more about your dogs. BRENDA: I have two Golden Doodles. Chaya Shasta is 3 & Zander Yavin is actually a Golden Doodle/Labradoodle & is a year 1/2 BMDT; How many dogs have you owned in your life? BRENDA: A lot, but as an adult only these two
BMDT: Do you travel with your dogs? BRENDA: Yes, we take them on vacations, going to my father-in-law’s, & camping
BMDT: What were your goals when you started with Big Moose Dog Training? BRENDA: With Chaya it was to get her to listen to commands easier, & with Xander I eventually want to have him be a therapy dog. BMDT: What is your favorite, or new, thing you learned from Big Moose Dog Training? BRENDA: Waiting to treat for slow downs.
BMDT: Where is your dogs’ favorite place to sleep? BRENDA: our bed
BMDT: Where di you get your dogs? BRENDA: We got them both as puppies from breeders, one is from Arkansas & one is from Indiana
BMDT: If you could have one training “Do Over” what would it be? BRENDA: Downs for Xander. He just doesn’t like to make them stick
BMDT: What is your dogs’ favorite toy? BRENDA: They both love unstuffed long toys. We play chase & bring back. Xander loves to tug with Chaya.
BMDT: Do your dogs know any fun tricks? BRENDA: they both know how to “high five” BMDT: What is the hardest thing (training-wise or in life) for your dog? BRENDA: Keeping the down, they both have a hard time staying there.
BMDT: What do you do with your dogs for fun? BRENDA: Field trips, & throw food & have them collect it.
BMDT: Do you dress your dog up for the holidays? BRENDA: Yes! BMDT: What were they for Halloween? BRENDA: Xander was Eeyore & Chaya was a bug.
